It’s so interesting to read about the clan’s reasoning for dividing the gender roles so clearly. This book was awesome!! She does not have the shared memories and the instinctual ways of the life as the Neanderthals. I truly loved and enjoyed everything about this book.
Auel’s descriptions of the Clan’s way of life and the land in which they live are fascinating and show the amount of research that has gone into the creation of the series. It’s what happens when two entirely different races and culture meet in the form of one young girl, and it’s the story libr how Ayla defied everything they could ever have anticipated for her. Ayla is without a doubt one of my favorite fictional characters, she suffers so much hardship but she never gives in and she always fights to survive.
I would really like to read all the rest of the books in the series. Fortunately, we know she will survive, even without the help and comfort of osso clan. Trivia About The Clan of the C Ayla, of course, is a Cro-Magnon i.
The story never let up, even with the few instances of repetition scattered throughout. Again, the depictions are not graphic.

Indeed, she’s much too strong, competent and intelligent for some of the Clan to accept in a woman and judging from critical and reader reactions, some moderns aren’t very cool with it either!
Tigress Warrior Elf Goodreads is not a site for reading books. Ayla is a cro-magnon child separated from her people. You will not be disappointed. This is something that I’ve never thought about before Konezney mentioned to my mother upon seeing me read this book in school – but it was my very first emotional connection to fictional characters. Seriously, people, I know the rest of this series focuses on romance, but this book does not, so please don’t shelve it as such!
The descriptions are not graphic but some readers will be disturbed by the portrayal. I actually started reading them in the 4th or 5th grade.
